Terms & Conditions

At B-Hawk Gaming, we want to give our customers the best shopping experience. That’s why we believe our terms and conditions should be fair, clear and transparent. Read about them below, and contact us with questions.

By using the site, the customer agrees to all of the following terms and conditions of the sale.

Diagnostic & Repair Services (GPU, Mobile Phone, Other)

1.0  There is an upfront Non-Refundable Diagnostic (Handling) Fee plus postage cost per item. This handling fee is the initial payment you are purchasing when selecting your required repair service.

1.1  In some cases, electronic items may have underlying problems that could be made worse by attempting repair, although it is uncommon; there is still a chance it could happen. So partially working cards may end up not working at all. We accept no responsibility for this eventuality and by purchasing this service the customer will be agreeing to this statement.

1.2  Once the diagnostic has been completed and if it is deemed that the item cannot be repaired or the customer decides they do not want the item repaired, the card will be returned with no further charge, but the upfront Non-Refundable Diagnostic (handling) fee plus postage cost still applies.

1.3  Once the diagnostic has been completed and a fault or faults have been detected the customer will be notified and a repair cost will be discussed. No repairs will be made until we receive full confirmation from the customer.

1.4  Occasionally, items require spare parts. There will be an additional charge for certain parts such as, PWM controllers and memory modules. This will be discussed with the customer after diagnostics are completed and no spare parts will be added until we receive full confirmation.

1.5  Once a repair has been successful, the item will not be returned until FULL final payment is received.

1.6  We accept no liability for damages to items or loss of items that happen because of circumstances outside of our control. This includes break-ins, natural disasters and fires.

CPU (Processor) Broken Pin Realignment / Replacement

2.0  The price stated on the website for replacing pins, is for up to 3 pins only. Any additional pins that need replacing will occur an additional charge. The additional charge can be discussed with the customer prior to purchasing the service. There is no limited for the amount of pins that need realigning only.

2.1  Merely replacing pins on a CPU will not magically make it work. IF it has an internal failure, it cannot be repaired. We are unable to repair dead CPU's, this service is only to realign / replace the pins on a CPU.

Unclaimed Repair Items

3.0  If the device that is with us for repair is not paid for in full for a successful repair or we receive no communication from the owner within 6 months we will issue a monthly holding charge of £20 which will be added to any already outstanding fees.

3.1  If fees are still not paid, or no communication is made after 12 months, we are authorized to sell the device to cover the costs or use it as we see fit, e.g. break down the device to use as spares.

Warranty

4.0  The device is subject to a 30 day warranty period for the same fault, or same parts..

4.1  In the event that a device fails again, we ask that you cover postage back to us, and we will cover it back to you. If we are not able to repair it the second time, we will also refund the repair fee paid to us

4.2  The device will be scrutinized when returned, any extra damage that was not there during the first successful repair*, or the fault is found to be caused by the user/owner will void this warranty and full fees will be required to repair it once again.

4.3  If the device is found to have no problems and is sent in for no reason, we will then ask you to cover the return postage.

4.4  Cracked boards do not carry a warranty period. They will not be accepted back for a free repair if they fail after leaving us.  

4.5 *A successful repair is denoted as any device that has passed all post repair testing without issues. This refers to the functionality of the device, and may not include cosmetics such as plastic covers and/or LEDS.

Liability

5.0  Information on this website is provided for free and we do not warrant the accuracy of the content of this website.

5.1  We will not be liable for damages to items or loss of items that happen because of circumstances outside of our control. This includes break-ins, natural disasters and fires.

5.2  We will not be liable for any loss of profit, data, income, revenue. Death, fraud or personal injury caused by using our service on the website directly or indirectly.

5.3  We can change our terms and conditions time to time please ensure you keep up to date when using our services.

Delivery

6.0  The initial postage arrangement and cost of sending your item into us for repair is to be managed by yourself, the customer.
6.1  International Shipping - The responsibility for any customs duties, foreign taxes or other fees which may be imposed will rest with you the customer. B-Hawk Gaming will NOT be responsible for paying any of these charges.
6.2  International Shipping - Due to customs delays and other factors outside of our control, orders may take longer to arrive. B-Hawk Gaming will NOT be held responsible for any delays that may occur.
6.3  Return Posting Dates – B-Hawk Gaming has two posting days. All cards that are ready to be returned to the customer will be carried out on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
